Can
you hold items for me? Unfortunately, no. The reason being is that
I have limited space which makes it rather difficult to keep track of orders waiting
around for other figures/items to be added. How
long will you hold orders being paid by money-order? Orders being
paid by money-order will be held for seven (7) days. If payment is not received
within that time, the order will be cancelled and all items will go back to stock. Can
I combine orders to save money on shipping? Yes. As long as the order
has not been packed and has a postage affixed, I can add more items to it. Please
note, I may not receive your second order in time to combine it with your first
order. To make sure I hear from you, call me direct. See the Contact section for
our phone number. Please be aware, if the addition to the order brings your
sub-total to the next level of our shipping fee chart, the shipping fee may be
higher. Please see the shipping fee chart on the Shipping Policy section of
our Policies page.
How often do you ship? Red Planet Toys is a part-time, one-man,
home-based operation. I ship Monday thru Friday via US Postal Service using USPS
Priority Mail with Delivery Confirmation. All orders are shipped within seven
(7) to twenty-one (21) days of being ordered, unless otherwise notified. Although,
I work very hard to get orders out in a timely fashion, sometimes delays do occur,
hence the 7 - 21 day delivery quote. If you need to have your order shipped out
sooner, please email me and just ask.
My order was shipped three days ago, but I still have not received it.
What can you do for me? The USPS (United Parcel Service) quotes 2
- 3 business days for all packages shipped via USPS Priority Mail with Delivery
Confirmation. Please note that this is a quote, not a guarantee. Also,
keep in mind that during the holidays, delivery of packages can, and most likely,
will be delayed. However, if you have not received your package within seven (7)
days, please email me your name, order number and a brief note explaining that
it's been seven (7) days and you have not received your package. I will then put
in an inquiry with the Post Office. It will take up to approximately up to thirty
(30) days for the post office to complete its inquiry. If it is confirmed that
the package is being returned to the shipper, I will gladly send a replacement
to you before I receive the returned package. Please note, as a business, I have
been using the USPS to deliver packages for over three (3) years and have never
had a package lost. I am not responsible for lost packages. If you fear that the
USPS may lose your package, we strongly suggest you insure your package for an
additional fee.

What do you do if an item I just ordered is out of stock?
Although I make every effort to update the site as often as possible, some items
can be unintentionally oversold. That means that due to my current inventory system,
it is possible for two or more customers to successfully place an order for an
item when only one is available. If this is the case, the item will go to the
first order received. The next customer will then be notified of the missing item
and then given the option to either replace that item with something else or receive
a refund for that item.
Do you sell your customer list? No. Your customer information
is only used for Red Planet Toys business ONLY. Can
I place a back-order on an out-of-stock item? Yes and No. Yes, if
the item is still available from our distributor, you can place a back-order with
a 10% non-refundable deposit. The 10% non-refundable deposit is to assure that
when the item arrives you do not say, "I don't want it anymore." No,
if the item requested is no longer available from our distributor, you can not
place a back-order. IMPORTANT: Due to the high shipping cost and/or the fact that
I have to order a minimum of six (6) figures, items from some companies, can not
be back-ordered. How
long will it take for my headsculpt(s) to arrive?
Headsculpts are casted. Headsculpts should arrive within 7 - 21 days. Painted
headsculpts are on-hand and can be shipped quicker, but only if requested. 
Do
you take pre-orders? Yes. With a $10 - $150 deposit (depending on
the price of the item), you can reserve any of our pre-order figures/items. Is
my deposit refundable? No. All deposits are non-refundable
and non-transferrable. Due to the fact that we base our order on your pre-orders,
pre-order cancellation can be a serious financial burden. Because of this we respectfully
ask that you be sure that you absolutley want the item before placing a pre-order.
The only exception to this rule is if the figure/item being pre-ordered is
cancelled by the manufacturer.
Will my credit card be charged for the deposit right away?
Yes. We currently use PayPal which automatically charges your account. (Note:
The PayPal Shopping Cart can not differentiate between a pre-order deposit and
a regular order. Therefore, it will automatically charge a postage fee to your
deposit. You have the option of either applying the extra money to your deposit
or having the postage fee refunded.
Does the pre-order guarantee that I get my figure/item?
Yes, as long as the distributor is able to completely fill my order.
Is there a limit of how many figures/items I can pre-order?
No, but please keep in mind that if you pre-order a large quantity of one item
you are expected to fulfill your end of the bargain and purchase them when
they become available.
Once the figure/item is in stock, how do I buy it? When
the figure/item arrives in stock, you will receive a PayPal Invoice for the balance.
If your pre-order was done via money-order, you will receive a "Balance Due"
bill via email.
How much time do I have to buy my figure/item once you send me my "Balance
Due"? If you are paying via PayPal, you have three (3) days
to make payment. If you are paying by US Postal, you have seven (7) days to make
payment. If payment is not received after that, I reserve the right to cancel
your pre-order, unless you email me in advance and advise of a delay. Requests
for reasonable extensions for payment of Balance Due will be done on a case by
case basis.
